How to avoid white lime all over

AQUA-Kalk is 100% dust-free and does not rub off on hands, clothes and all sorts of other places. When you give the garden AQUA-Kalk, you therefore do not need to put on the overalls and ask the family to stay away from the garden until the lime has dissolved.

Because AQUA-Kalk has a natural earthy brown colour, you cannot see the lime in the lawn, flower bed and kitchen garden. You thus avoid looking at the white lime cast in your garden, which traditional white lime leaves behind.

​Avoid overdosing with AQUA-Kalk

Traditional white lime dissolves when it rains, regardless of whether your garden needs lime or not. AQUA-Kalk adds only the amount of lime that the soil needs. There is no danger of overdosing. With AQUA-Kalk, you are therefore sure that your garden always has the optimal amount of lime in the soil. Then grass and the vast majority of types of plants can more easily absorb the nutrients they need to become beautiful, healthy and strong.

Microorganisms strengthen the roots of the grass

Who does not dream of a beautiful, green and dense lawn? AQUA-lime has been added with beneficial microorganisms, which provide a more fertile soil and strengthen the roots of the grass and plants. A strong root network makes for a healthier lawn that can grow green and dense.

The microorganisms in AQUA-Kalk dissolve immediately and do not wait for the pH value to drop.

Your lawn, most crops in the kitchen garden and flower beds with roses, for example, can better absorb nutrients from the soil when the pH value is 6-7. Your acidic soil bed with e.g. rhododendrons does best in an acidic soil, where the pH value is 5-6. Therefore, you must give AQUA-Kalk to most of the garden, except for example the rhododendron bed.

AQUA-Kalk is a completely natural lime and comes from our drinking water. It is a surplus product from the softening process of drinking water at waterworks. By using the excess lime to improve the soil in the garden, we help the waterworks get rid of the lime and we avoid the excavation of lime in lime quarries.

With AQUA-Kalk, you thus give your lawn the best conditions to be able to absorb all the nutrients it needs to become beautifully green and dense, at the same time you help the waterworks get rid of their excess lime and avoid CO ₂ -heavy excavation of lime from limestone quarrying.

Field of application

AQUA-Kalk regulates the soil's pH value (acidity) and is used for lawns, flower beds, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, etc.

Dosage

AQUA-Kalk is applied 1-2 times a year, but can be used all year round. Typically it is produced in the period March-May and again in late summer. Dosage depends on the plants and the soil's pH value. Follow the dosage instructions on the bag.

Instructions for use

AQUA-Kalk can be used in all kinds of weather without the risk of burning grass and plants. Spread AQUA-Kalk by hand or with a spreader. Avoid spilling on hard surfaces as the granules may be slippery.

Why should I give AQUA-Kalk to my lawn, flower bed and vegetable garden?

Grass and plants absorb nutrients from the soil to become healthy and beautiful. With AQUA-Kalk, you can adjust the soil's pH level so that it is easier for the plants to absorb the nutrients.

Why does AQUA-Kalk have a natural earthy brown colour?

AQUA-Kalk is a surplus product from the softening process of drinking water at waterworks and is naturally earthy brown.

Can I overdose my lawn with AQUA-Lime?

AQUA-Kalk only dissolves in soil with a pH value below 7.0. There is therefore no danger of overdosing. AQUA-Kalk stays in the soil and waits for the pH value to drop. However, the beneficial microorganisms are released immediately regardless of the pH value.

I find it difficult to spread AQUA-Kalk because it collects in my hand. Why?

AQUA-Kalk is small grains of sand to which the lime is bound, and the product behaves in relation to water exactly like sand. Everyone has tried to build sand castles; it is impossible with dry sand and easier with wet or damp sand. The moist sand is sticky, but when it dries the individual grains separate again. It is the same with AQUA-Kalk. You can therefore easily sprinkle moist AQUA Lime - it simply sticks to the hand and cannot be sprinkled as finely as if the grains are coarse. If AQUA-Kalk has become damp, and you prefer to spread it when it is dry, you can spread it out and let it dry before use.
